openSUSE: What is the zypper equivalent of dpkg-reconfigure?

On Debian, I was accustomed to doing dpkg-reconfigure when I needed to reinstall a package -- i.e., re-run the installation scripts, but without actually removing and reinstalling.

Today I needed something like that on openSUSE. In his forum message on this topic, Henne Vogelsang gives the answer:

# zypper in -f <package>
